Terms and Conditions for Belean

Welcome to Belean. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Belean mobile application (“Belean”, “the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using Belean, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the App.
1. About Belean
Belean is an Android mobile application that helps users visually track skin appearance over time using face photos, artificial intelligence, scan history, progress indicators, and general cosmetic tips. The App may allow users to upload or capture a face photo, receive AI-based visual markers for visible skin appearance areas, view cropped spot images, track changes over time, and access cosmetic progress information. Belean is provided for personal, cosmetic, and informational tracking purposes only.
2. No Medical Advice
Belean is not a medical device, healthcare provider, diagnostic tool, or medical service. The App does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure acne, skin diseases, infections, allergies, or any medical condition. Any scan results, skin appearance scores, visual markers, progress charts, or daily tips are general cosmetic tracking information only. You should not rely on Belean as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
3. Eligibility
Belean is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or that you are legally allowed to use the App under the laws that apply to you. Belean is not directed to children or minors. We may suspend or delete accounts if we believe the App is being used in a way that violates these Terms or applicable requirements.
4. Account Registration
To use Belean, you may need to sign in using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any device used to access Belean. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate another person or use another person’s account without permission. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Belean account.
5. User Photos and Scan Data
Belean’s main features depend on your ability to upload or capture face photos for visual analysis. By uploading or capturing a photo in the App, you confirm that the photo belongs to you or you have permission to use it, you have the right to upload and process the photo through Belean, the photo does not violate the rights, privacy, or safety of another person, and you will not upload illegal, harmful, abusive, sexual, exploitative, or inappropriate content.
You keep ownership of your photos and personal content. However, you grant Belean a limited permission to store, process, analyze, display, and use your uploaded photos and scan data only as needed to provide the App’s features, operate the service, improve reliability, maintain security, and provide support. Belean does not use your face photos for face recognition, identity verification, biometric identification, or identifying who you are.
6. Artificial Intelligence Results
Belean uses artificial intelligence to provide visual analysis of skin appearance. AI-generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your situation. The App may incorrectly identify, miss, or classify visible skin areas. You understand and agree that AI results are estimates only, not medical conclusions, and skin appearance scores are cosmetic indicators only.
7. Free Scan and Paid Subscription
Belean may offer a limited free experience, such as one free face scan per account. After the free scan is used, access to additional scans or premium features may require a paid subscription. Subscription availability, pricing, billing period, free trials, offers, and renewal terms may vary by country, platform, currency, and Google Play settings.
8. Payments, Renewals, and Cancellation
All payments and subscriptions for Belean are processed through Google Play Billing. Belean does not collect or store your full payment card details, carrier billing details, or full payment account information. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your Google Play account before the renewal date. Deleting the Belean App from your device or deleting your Belean account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. You must cancel the subscription through Google Play.
9. Account Deletion
You may delete your Belean account from within the App, if available, or contact us to request deletion. When your account is deleted, we will delete or permanently de-identify personal data associated with your account, subject to limited retention where necessary for security, fraud prevention, subscription management, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or legitimate operational purposes. Deleting your account may remove access to your scan history, photos, progress data, and App features. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Belean to violate laws, upload content that belongs to another person without permission, upload illegal or offensive content, attempt to access another user’s account or data, reverse engineer, copy, modify, scrape, or misuse the App, interfere with security or availability, use automated tools without permission, abuse free scans or subscriptions, or use the App for medical diagnosis or professional services. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
11. App Availability and Changes
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but we do not guarantee Belean will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, fast, or error-free. We may modify, update, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, including features, pricing, limits, AI behavior, scan logic, subscriptions, or design.
12. Third-Party Services
Belean may rely on third-party services for functions such as authentication, cloud hosting, AI processing, notifications, payments, app updates, analytics, diagnostics, and infrastructure. Your use of Belean may also be subject to the terms and policies of third-party services, including Google Play and Google Sign-In.
13. Privacy
Your use of Belean is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, process, and protect information, including account information, photos, scan data, subscription data, notifications data, and diagnostic information.
14. Intellectual Property
Belean, including its design, branding, logo, user interface, software, features, text, graphics, and other materials, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Belean without our permission, except where allowed by applicable law.
15. User Content License
You retain ownership of photos and content you upload to Belean. To operate the App, you grant Belean a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to host, store, process, analyze, display, and use your uploaded content and scan data only as reasonably necessary to provide and maintain the App’s features. This permission ends when your content is deleted from our active systems, except where limited retention is necessary for legal, security, backup, or legitimate operational reasons.
16. Disclaimers
Belean is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or guarantees about the accuracy of AI results, completeness of scan results, suitability of the App for your personal needs, availability, or correction of all errors or defects. You use Belean at your own discretion and risk.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Belean and its owners, operators, developers, partners, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
18. User Responsibility
You are responsible for how you use Belean and how you interpret the results. You agree that you will not make medical, treatment, medication, or emergency decisions based only on Belean. You are responsible for consulting a qualified professional when needed and for managing your subscription, device permissions, account security, and uploaded content.
19. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Belean for violations, misuse, or if required by law or platform rules. Certain sections of these Terms may continue to apply after termination.
20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when these Terms were last revised. Your continued use of Belean after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
21. Governing Law
These Terms are intended to apply to users in countries where Belean is available through Google Play. Depending on your country of residence, certain consumer protection, privacy, subscription, or digital service laws may apply and may give you rights that cannot be limited by these Terms.
